The Menopause Brain Programme is an educational course grounded in neuroscience and clinical psychology. It is designed to help you understand the neurobiological and psychological changes that occur during menopausal transition, and to provide evidence-based tools and frameworks to support your wellbeing.
This programme is not a clinical service, therapy, counselling, or medical treatment of any kind. It does not constitute a therapeutic relationship between you and Dr Hunter. Participation in this programme does not replace, and should not be used as a substitute for, professional medical care, psychological therapy, or psychiatric treatment.
Your participation in The Menopause Brain Programme is entirely voluntary. You are free to withdraw from the programme at any time. You are under no obligation to complete any exercise, reflection, or activity within the programme, and you may choose to skip or revisit any material at your own pace.
By enrolling, you confirm that you are participating freely, without coercion, and that you have had the opportunity to read this agreement and ask any questions before proceeding.
This programme engages with topics that may be emotionally activating for some participants. These include, but are not limited to: cognitive changes, mood disturbance, anxiety, depression, fatigue, identity, relationships, sexuality, grief, and the psychological impact of physical change.
The programme has been carefully designed with psychological safety in mind. However, engaging with this material may bring up strong emotions, memories, or personal reflections. This is a normal and often valuable part of the learning process. You are encouraged to proceed at your own pace and to take breaks whenever needed.
If at any point you feel overwhelmed, distressed, or in need of additional support, please reach out to a qualified healthcare professional, your GP, or a registered psychologist or therapist. A list of resources is provided within the programme.
Dr Hunter and her team are not able to provide individual clinical support, crisis intervention, or emergency assistance through this programme. The programme does not include one-to-one clinical supervision, therapeutic monitoring, or safeguarding provisions.
If you are currently experiencing a mental health crisis, active suicidal ideation, severe depression, or any other acute psychological or medical emergency, please do not rely on this programme for support. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dr Edyta Monika Hunter, her associates, and any affiliated parties shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your participation in this programme, including but not limited to:
